One. The order includes the robot arm, its licence, both bases and the first 500 portraits. If you need a second arm, write to us and we'll send you terms.
What is the PictiaX® portal?
It's the website you run everything from: the event, the queue, the styles, the gallery and the CRM. It opens on Windows, Mac, tablet or phone, with nothing to install.
What happens if the venue's wifi is bad?
You carry on working. Generating the portrait needs a connection, like any system that uses AI, but you don't depend on the venue's wifi: you can tether to your phone, and if the network drops for a moment the queue is saved and whatever is pending retries on its own when it comes back. No portrait is lost and nothing has to be started again.
How long does each drawing take?
Around 60 seconds, depending on the detail, the paper size and the speed you pick.
How much does each AI portrait cost?
One PICTICOIN is one portrait, from €0.10, and the price drops with volume. The first 500 are included in the order.
Do PICTICOINS expire?
No. The balance you buy stays there for as long as your account is active, with no time limit. If you have a quiet winter you don't lose the portraits you have left, and the 500 that come with the system don't expire either. What they can't do is turn back into money: since they never expire, you can always spend them later.
Does the software have to be renewed every year?
No. The software is included and it doesn't expire: open it whenever you like without paying a thing. The only thing you pay for is the PICTICOINS each portrait uses.
How much can I charge for an event?
Operators in Spain charge between €600 and €2,000 per activation. At 100 portraits, the PICTICOINS cost you around €12.00.
What paper sizes does it take?
Seven, and the guest picks from the ones you enable for that event. The two bases included cover the single portrait, 10 × 15 cm, and the couple portrait, 20 × 15 cm.
What warranty does the system have?
Three years, and what matters is what it covers. For all three you don't have to prove the fault was there from the start, we pay the shipping both ways within the European Union, and if you have an event in the next seven days and we can't repair it in time, we send you a replacement unit. It applies the same if you buy as a business. It's written into the Terms and Conditions, with its date and its version.
Do I need to know about robotics?
No. It arrives assembled and configured. Plug it in, create the event from your phone and put the QR where people can see it. Setting up takes about ten minutes.
Can I use it with a robot I already have?
Yes. Every drawing arm speaks G-code, so PictiaX® runs on a range of models. Write to us and we'll quote you for the software on its own.
What happens after I buy?
We write to you to book the setup session, and PictiaX® Academy is waiting in your account: express training, ten short lessons, and by the end your first event is built.
